THESE GIRDER FORK MODELS WERE PROBABLY THE FASTEST BIKES SUPPLIED TO THE WAR OFFICE DURING WW2.
THESE BIKES WERE REPLACED BY CONTRACTS FOR THE NEW TELE FORK G3L AND MANY PARTS WERE INTER CHANGEABLE.
THEY HAD A NICE CONTROL LAYOUT WITH SOLID LEVERS . AS THIS IS A LATE CONTRACT IT HAS THE MILITARY SPEEDOMETER, THIS ONE IS HAS BEEN RECENTLY RECONDITIONED .IT HAS THE PANEL TANK FROM EARLIER CONTRACTS AS SOME 256 POANEL TANKS WERE USED IN THIS CONTRACT AS NOTHING WAS WASTED .
THE GIRDER FORKS WERE STRONG . THE BRAKES LARGE AND THE BIKE A LOT HEAVIER THAN THE NEW LIGHTWEIGHT G3L.
THE PRIMARY SIDE SHOWS THE HORN WHICH IS NOT CONNECTED ON THIS BIKE AS A MODERN HORN HAS BEEN PUT IN A TOOLBOX . CORRECT BATTERY STRAP,. THE ENGINE IS FROM A LATER G3L AND PROBABLY FITTED AS EXCHANGE IN AN ARMY WORKSHOP.

THIS IS A NICE ,MOSTLY SORTED BIKE . ELECTICS ALLWORK FROM SMALL MODERN BATTERY IN DUMMY CASE. THE REGULATOR IS ELECTRONIC AND LIVES IN TOOLBOX . ITS A VERY HANDSOME MACHINE .

MANY BIKES WERE STILL SPORTING RUBBER FITMENTS LIKE KNEEPADS AND BAR GRIPS . YOU CAN SEE THE SMALL MILITARY SIDESTAND .
